Dr. Lugo was raised, educated, and has spent his entire professional career, in
California.
He earned a B.A. degree in Chemistry from USC in 1976, then pursued his love of medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1981.
He served his Internship in General Surgery and his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at King Drew Medical Center in LA, then completed a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Wagner Institute in Whittler with the noted surgeon, Dr. F. William Wagner.
Dr. Lugo is on the acvtive staff at Queen of the Valley Hospital and Inter Community Medical Center, and provides outpatient care at San Gabriel Valley Surgical Center.
He is also in Evaluation and Rating of Permanent Disabilities for Workers' Compensation.
In his spare time Dr. Lugo likes to play golf and tennis (with his boys).
